The Luanda International Film Festival is taking place from November 22 – 29 at the Cine Atlantico, Belas Shopping Cinema and in the Pepetela Auditorium at the Camoes Institute next to the Portuguese embassy. The brand new festival will showcase both new and re-released films from countries including South Africa, Sao Tome, France, Portugal, Brazil, China and of course, Angola.
Continuous screenings of Angolan amateur videos will also run at the Sala Estudio in Cine Atlantic. As well, four days of panel discussions and debates will take to the stage of the Auditorium at the Triple AAA Building in downtown Luanda. And also not to be missed: a photographic exhibition on Angolan cinema, specially prepared by Cinemateca de Angola, will be on display at Cine Atlantico, Cine Place and Auditorio Pepetela.
